A simple, powerful, universal message

The song in this version of the Green Party election ads brought tears to my eyes.

Evocative, hopeful, grounded in the dust we walk on. Images and a few words, drenched in values that must be close to being universal.....

Part of this Earth.

All of us...and those will come after us. Vote for them. Vote Green.

Yep.

  1. I wonder if she knows yet how harmless marijuana is?

  2. anon: You do? I don't smoke dope and rarely give it a thought.

There are so many more important things to think about.

  3. I most certainly do not.

    The Greens,however,favour marijuana use.

Using the innocence of children in advertising, when they hold such a view, is unconscionable.

Your reply gives it a "blind eye" tick.

  4. You must have got your view of the Green policy from Peter Dunne or the National Party.

The Green Party harm reduction policy with respect to drugs generally and marijuana in particular does not advocate or otherwise "favour marijuana use".

There are many anti-drug people in the Green Party. The policy in no way advocates drug use.

    Read it some time.
