Scientists at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NWA), are reporting NZ's glaciers are at their lowest ebb since records began and shrinking rapidly. When they disappear....and "when" appears to be the right word....that will have interesting implications for the local climates in the area, water supplies and may affect hydro power generation.
Looks like we will get to find out the hard way. Hope all the climate change deniers enjoy the money they "saved" while we still had reliable power and water.
